WhereKampala Update

WhereKampala is confirmed for Friday October 30th near Kampala, Uganda. Several sponsors including Google and ITC have stepped up with generous donations to help defray costs. Please help spread the word and promote the event.

The WhereCamp happens on the final day of the AfricaGIS conference but you do not have to be registered for the conference to attend. But you do have to sign up at the eventbright site for a free ticket. In Nairobi we had an 'celebrity' panel and several presentations. If you are interested in presenting please let me know. The week after AfricaGIS there will be a series of mapping parties in and around Nairobi. Hope to see everyone there.
